PSA Project

A PSA (Public Service Announcement) is a way of advertising in Television, Radio, or any other kind of media. PSA are in someway especial, because instead of trying to sale a product to the audience, they are design to teach the public a message or theme of the problems the world is going on. They accomplish this, with the simulation of actions, exposing things that affect the opinion of the people, or by letting know the public an issue. As you can see, PSA's are very different to regular advertising in the structure they have, but at the same time they are advertising.

For this project, my first option to work with is Pedro. It is pretty simple why I have chosen to work with him, we both life en Nuevo Vallarta. This will eventually help when we have to do the work. Also, Pedro and me have the same interests, we like the same things and we have similar ideas; making the work easier to accomplish. My second choice is Jorge, eventhoug we don't life in the same colony, I know I am able to work with him in a peaceful manner, because we both think alike. My final choice will have to be, Mahonry. As a matter a fact, I life close to him (Nuevo Vallarta). I know some times we have our differences, but still we both can "bend" and obtain a good product.

Drinking and Driving: I will show this topic, in a scenario of a AA meeting. An irresponsible adult is talking about his story, that he killed a family because he was drinking and driven. Then, the video will change to the actual scence. To end, I, my partner or both will apear and give the message.
Pollution of the Oceans and Land: This is going to be a very easy topic, you can show strong pollution images that show what can happen to our world. At the end, we will appear and mention how we can fix this horrible problem.
Safe Sex: This is probobly a very good theme to show. We can record ourselves showing multiple ways of having safe sex. I am not talking about sexual images, instead of showing anti-conception means like the pill, condom and other stuff.
