All around the United States they're parents looking for their children. This can happen for various reasons. One can be that the kid escaped from their home, another could be that he was kidnapped by a kidnapper or even his parents. They are infinite number of reason. This is a story about a parent that had dedicated the past 5 years to the search of his kid.

5 Years Ago...

Once upon a time, their was a simple family that was made up of the father and his daughter. Tomas was the father and Isabelle the daughter. The mother had died while giving birth to the beautiful baby daughter. It was Christmas vacation and the family decided to visit the Grandparents of Isabelle. They were at the airport, for the time of the year it was very busy. Tomas had specifically told Isabelle to not let go of him, so she wouldn't get lost. Of course, like all children she didn't obey. Then everything started. Isabelle was amazed by an attraction for tourist, she had never seen nothing like that before. She felt curious and more curious and she went to check it out, mean while Tomas was busy talking to a Security Guard. Like a minute pass, Isabelle was gone. Tomas was becoming hysterically, his daughter was missing. Immediately the Security Guard grab his radio and start communicating to HQ the missing girl. All security was mobilized, even the FAA and FBI. In that time, kidnapping band, called Mala Noche had been operating in New York. It was told that Mala Noche was an International Organized Crime Organization that sell drugs, arms and kidnapping. It was a rumor that ugly girls that they kidnapped were cut and their organs were sell;where as the beautiful girls were prostituted to make extra money.

Time passed, as the investigation of the FBI collaborating with Interpol. Nothing happen, no news, no accomplishments, nothing. Tomas was anxious as any parent would be. Moths past, with nothing new. He decided that it was time for him to start a new investigation, he would have to take justice to his own hand. He joined the United States Army, so he could get some training and survival instincts. Before graduating, he quitted the army, but now he was ready. He looked all over the world for his daughter. He traveled to Europe and South America, where most operations of Mala Noche occurred. He founded out that his daughter wasn't prostituted nor killed. Instead for being a Virgin, she was sold to the heights bitter. This information was acquired by torturing a member of Noche, he also got the contact info of the buyer of Isabelle. It was a famous Russian Business men. Tomas tried to located him, but it was impossible. Disappointed he went back to New York, but he hadn't quite he only needed to re-plan his strategy. Before he gotten in the plane, he received a call from the FBI, telling him that his daughter had escaped and had contacted the FBI Office in Bulgaria. She would be putten in the earliest Aircraft, so she could come back home. Now more than ever, Tomas was happy to come home. He got a day earlier to New York before his daughter arrived. He decided to decorate the house to her welcome. He couldn't sleep because of the exsitement, at the morning he turned out the News. The plane were had daughter came had been victim of terrorist. It was said that the bomb exploded before time, which cause the airplane to become ashes and land on the Black Forest, located at Germany. Tomas was once more devastated, this time instead of being brave and move on he committed something crazy. Tomas hang it self...

8th Grade Rotoball Projecrts

My Project: During the process of creation of my animation of Rotoball I had some difficulties; however I overlap them. My biggest problem was my original video, it was not what I needed, so I had to make another one that would work. Another dificulty I had in the way was to trace my guitar; I wanted something perfect not sloppy so it took some time. My final issue was exporting it, at first I exported wrong. Then the weekend passed and I got sicked and missed school for Monday and Tuesday. For this reason my animation wasn't added to the class video. To solve it I had to re-exported and talk to the editor, Rodrigo so he could add my video. At last, mi video was added to the class video.

Comment on Video:
The class video with all our rotoball porject is really amazing. Rodrigo has done a great job adding music and other stuff he was assing to do. The only critic is that some people really need to fix their videos. What I mean is in the end, when the ball is gone their video should end instead of them staying there.

My Work:
My work only needed some adjustments. The stage and roto were perfect, even the ball. The only problem that it had was that it stayed less than a second still playing and the roto was already gone. So I only fixed that. Whith that fixed, my animation is perfect.

My Rotoball Idea

In the moment I saw the Rotoball video clips I had some ideas. It remembered me of the iPod publicity of Apple INC. I mean the colorfull pictures of persons with their iPod. I imagine that my project will be a little related to it; however not to close to the same topic because I wanted to be original. I have narrow my ideas to two main. I can do somebody dancing and changing color; and suddenly the ball comes and becomes an instrument of electronic music. My second idea is to creat a sad children and then the ball comes and transforms to something that he will like, at the end when the child goes to bed the ball will leave because the dog started to play with it.

Paragraph 1: Your reaction to this new emerging technology, what were you thinking wow watching the video, would you want one of these? why or why not?

I believed that this new technology is pretty amazing. It is almost like we have the machine inside of us. When I was watching the video, I was stunted and couldn't believe that this kind of technology was already invented. What really blew me off, was that your phone was in the palm of your hans and you can dial the digits in your hand. Another thing that really impressed me was that the computer automatically recognizes what is in your hands, like the book and instientaly downloaded the ratings of it. But absolutely the thing that surprised me most of all was the copying of a text in a book transmitted to the piece of paper, which from their you can transmit it to your computer. Of course I will like to have one of this incredible machines; however I will wait until the developer improves his design and makes it more practical. Another factor that will affect the purchase of this technology will be the price, at first I expected to be expensive.

Paragraph 2 - What you feel are the greatest things about the technology (and what are its greatest limitations).

As mention before, this technology has some great things that makes it unique. Number one, it is a personal computer, which allows it to be taken anywhere in the world. Another thing that makes it unique, is that it can be project anywhere, in the wall, in a desk or as simple as a piece of paper. I also like about this device that the computer is smarter than others, what I mean is that it makes more stuff than regular computers. An example of this is the classification of the book automatically, a normal device will need commands to do it. What really makes it unique is that take text and images from other objects and safe them in its hard drive, which later can be transmitted cable-free to your PC/Mac. The best quality this has is that even though is a computer, it is also a phone. The only bad things is that is unpracticable, to big and takes a lot of space in your personal area. Another bad thing is that it may looks very heavy.

Paragraph 3 - At the end he says that it is quite cheap to make and that he will be sharing his software - Open Source. In your own words what does open source mean? What have you used that is "Open Source", what do you think are the pros and cons of sharing software in this way.

I believe that Open source means that is available to every body that wants it, which can be downloaded. A very famous open source that a very great quantities of people use, including my self, is social networks. Facebook, myspace, Hi-5 and other are open source pages. I think that is a very good thing that they decided to make this project an open source so the people can have it, specially people with low finiancial resources. I don't really see any cons of making it open source.

Social Networking-Kepping

Social Media can be very helpfull, for example by letting you comunicated with your friends, plan parties and more fun stuff; however it can also be very damiging. This is determine by how the people put a use to it. Social Media is often use to express the fellings of the poeple, good and bad. As your not with the person your arguin with, you obtain more liberty to express how you feel, as for the moment you don't have to see their reaction or their expresions. This is way people preffer to fight by computer than face to face, of course in my opinion this is a cowered way to solve things. Any kind of fighting is bad and almost always it lets a lot of resentment in the back. Online fighting cause more harm than good, its yust an easier way to release your probloms. In conclusion, people express more open their feallings by computer than in person because they aren't in front of a person that will react, in a good or bad way.
